Austin Motor
Company discovered the Healey day before the opening of the "Earls
Court Motor show" in the year 1952 at the show-booth of the Healey
Motor Corporation. The Austin Healey 3000, also known as the "Big Healey", was produced between 1959 and 1968. The Healey 3000 was the follow-up to the successful 100/4 and 100/6 Healey's. The 3000 was the first Healey fitted with power-assisted brakes and disc brakes on the front wheels. The 3000 was to be the last "big" Austin Healey. 6 cylinder
in-line engine Austin
Healey 3000 Mk IIa, year 1962. Colour red with a black leather interior.
Very seldom we see a classic car in this stunning original condition.
Over twenty years ago this Austin Healey was added to a classic car
collection. Now after 20 years the owner decided to sell this impressive
Healey. Bodywork and chassis are beautifully original, the black leather
interior perfect and the red paintwork is 90% original and still
beautiful. Technically the owner had us to bring the car to perfection
in our workshop. Work carried out: fitted a new wiring loom, new petrol
tank and radiator. Overhauled the engine, gearbox, overdrive and the
carburettors. Overhauled/renewed the brake system. This
Classic Car was sold to France by |
