The Rover P6
was a sequel to the Rover P4 and P5. The P6 was built between 1966 and
1977 and produced as a 2000, a 2200SC (single carburettor) and a TC (twin
carburettor) and as a P6B. This P6B version was equipped with a light
alloy 3500 cc V8 engine, originally designed by Buick. The P6B 3500
"S" was the version with manual gearbox. The P6 was fitted
with an ingenious design, the wheel suspension system. It also had a
Dion type rear arrangement and a modern front suspension system with
horizontally fitted springs, which prevented the car from "diving"
when applying the brakes. V8 engine Rover P6B 3500 S, year 1972 (May 15, 1972). Colour Cameron Green. Interior with cognac leater upholstery and beige carpets. Equipped with a manually operated gearbox and original fog-lamps. Stainless Steel exhaust system. This car originally comes form Belgium. Because off the "Bell" stainless-steel exhaust system this classic P6B has a truly NON original -but impressive- engine sound. |
