In the year
1931 Bentley was taken over by Rolls Royce. In the year
1965 the Bentley T saw the light of day, at the same time as the sister
model Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. The Bentley T and Rolls Royce Silver
Shadow were a true revolution within the conservative company. The
automobiles were designed with a unitary bodywork construction,
independent suspension all round and disc brakes all round. V8 engine Bentley T1 Mulliner Park Ward Drophead Coupe, year 1968. Chassis number: CBX 6034. Colour Burgundy red with a black leather and a black vinyl hood. This impressive and very rare Bentley T1 MPW DHC is in very good to excellent original condition! From 1967 until 1971 only 41 Bentleys of this type were hand built, of which only 9 left hand drive export models. This delightful Bentley Drophead Coupe sold new in the USA. In the year 2010 the automobile was imported to the Netherlands. The automobile has driven 9000 miles ever since. The car has been serviced and maintained very well, a history file tracking back to the year 2001 is present. The automobile sports power wind-up windows, power retracting hood, power steering, air-conditioning a badge bar and the original tool set.
