Information
The AC Aceca
is a beautiful coupe based upon the AC Ace. the AC Aceca was introduced
in the year 1954 and the car was built until 1963. Like the Ace the
Aceca was hand built in small numbers. These exclusive sportscars
featured a steel chassis with independent suspension all round using
transverse leaf springs. Combined with a near 50/50 weight distribution
the road holding and the handling of the Aceca was excellent. The
bodywork, designed by John Tojeiro was all aluminium mounted upon a
tubular steel frame. The Aceca featured a versatile 'hatchback' rear
side like it first appeared on the 1953 Aston Martin DB2/4. The spacious
booth/trunk became an integral part of the interior in this set up. Six-cylinder
AC engine AC Aceca,
year 1955. Colour Mist green metallic (original colour) with a green
leather interior and green carpet. |
