Information
The Mercedes
250 SL was produced alongside the 230 SL from 1966 until 1968. The
timeless, austere design that was first seen in the Mercedes 300 SE
sedan in 1961, was continued in the 230 SL, the 250 SL and thereafter
the 280 SL: many see these versions as the most beautiful Mercedes-Benz
creations since the 1960s. six cylinder
in-line engine Mercedes-Benz 250 SL 'Pagoda', year 1968. VIN number: 113043 10 003105. Colour 'dark olive' green metallic (MB colour code 291) with a cognac 'Tex' interior. This 250 SL was sold new in the USA, in 1999 the car was imported to the Netherlands. Bodywork and the mechanics of this beautiful 250 SL were restored and overhauled a few years ago. During restoration the car was modified to European specifications. The original interior was still okay and therefore retained. The automobile is in excellent condition! The car was serviced and maintained by specialists. The 250 SL is the rarest 'Pagoda' model, only 5196 have been built on a total of 23.885. This fine Pagoda comes with the original (black) hard top, beautiful classic Becker radio, German user manual and the original Daimler-Benz parts book. This Mercedes-Benz 250 SL features a 4-speed manual gearbox and the car drives absolutely perfect! This
