Work on the new Classicar Garage website is progressing as planned. The new website will be live on April 1.

At this moment 175 cars for sale/under option/sold have been added to the database. 150 cars have been added to the Archives so far and 19 projects have been added to the Projects chapter. The website will be delivered to us by the builders on Friday the 13th. Then further testing, layout corrections and more 'filling' work will be carried out.
This website will be updated every time one of the cars is sold or when prices are being changed. This website will be available for some time in the future. This site will then function as our reference archives.

Today we added five new arrivals to our sales collection. At Lex Classics we added a stunning 1959 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL (sold) in concours (show) condition and a magnificent 1960 Chevrolet Corvette C1 in excellent condition featuring the 4- speed manual gearbox! A tremendous and extensively rally prepared 1960 Austin Healey 3000 Mk I rally car in very good condition. Further more we added some younger classics like a delightful 1993 Ferrari Mondial T in excellent original condition! This low mileage Ferrari features the very special Valeo clutch (read more about that in the sales information). And we added a very impressive 1995 BMW 850 CSI (E31 5.9 - 'M8') in superb (excellent+) original condition! This is the top-of-the-line E31 model.

This fine machine participated in the 2009, 2011 and 2012 Mille Miglia. we also added a fantastic 1953 Jaguar XK 120 SE OTS (roadster) in excellent condition and a tremendous 1966 Jaguar E-type 4.2 Litre FHC series 1 in superb (excellent++) condition, concours!

Further more we added a fantastic 1969 Jaguar E-type 4.2 Litre FHC series 2 in superb (excellent+) condition and a very stylish 1958 Jaguar XK 150 S OTS (roadster) (sold) in excellent condition!
At Lex Classics we added a very impressive 1975 Alfa Romeo Montreal in superb (excellent+) condition and a magnificent 1996 Porsche 911 (993) Targa in superb (excellent+) original condition!

We added three new arrivals at Smiths-Veglia! A magnificent 'matching numbers' 1966 Ferrari 330 GT series 2 in very good to excellent original condition. A beautiful 1968 Porsche 912 (sold) in very good original condition and a fantastic 1982 Porsche 911 SC 3.0 coupe. The first owner of this 911 was Victoria Principal... the unforgettable 'Pamela' in the TV series 'Dallas!

The last two weeks of 2014 and the first two weeks of 2015 we have been working very hard on our new ClassicarImages website. Right this moment the website is being build and programmed by specialists. We hope to start filling the database in the last week of February. The new website is expected to go live around the last week of March!
The last two weeks yours truly has been testing and photographing twenty new arrived classic and sports cars for sale at Gina Classics, Smiths-Veglia, Imparts and twice at Lex Classics!
Tomorrow afternoon you mayh expect three new arrivals at Smiths-Veglia: a Ferrari 330, a Porsche 911 SC (first owner Victoria Principal of the 'Dallas' TV show!) and a Porsche 912!

Currently we are working very hard on the design of the new ClassicarImages website which will go live in March 2015.

Expect the most premium photo viewing experience on all devices, our photo's will sparkle from your screen in high resolution - our goal is to surprise you. The creation of the new website is a hell of a big job and the technical development will take place from early January until mid February. After that we will move the then current sales collection. After that we will start rebuilding part of the archives with newly developed high resolution reportages. The good old ClassicarImages website which has served us for 15 years (!) will be available until the end of 2015.

Newsletter readers will have a sneak preview of the new website (ClassicarImages 2.0) in Newsletter 100 which is being dispatched this afternoon! We will also announce a new ClassicarImages quality partner and many new arrived classic cars which will be photographed in the new year. If you don't receive our Newsletter then check the Web edition which will be shared via the link above tomorrow.

We added five new arrived classic and sports cars to our sales collection! At Smiths-Veglia we added a fabulous 1987 Porsche 928 S4 (sold) in superb (excellent++) original condition, like new! This fine Porsche has driven only 17.016 kilometres form new and the car comes with a Porsche certificate. also added a fantastic 1992 Morgan +8 3.9 Litre in excellent condition!
Added at Altena Classic Service: a very beautiful 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL (sold) in concours (show) condition, this automobile was restored in recent years. Also added a tremendous 'black on black' 1967 Austin Healey 3000 Mk III phase 2 in excellent to superb condition and a delightful 1979 MG Midget 1500 (Mk IV) in very good to excellent condition.

For SALE at Smiths-Veglia: a fabulous and very impressive 1973 Iso Grifo 5.7 Litre IR 8 (sold) in excellent original condition! This rare sports car (only 34 IR 8 models were built) drove only 49.295 kilometres from new!
At Amicale Facel Holland we added a photo reportage of a recently finished restoration. For a client AFH restored a scarce 1964 Facel Vega Facel 6 cabriolet to top condition!

Today we added three new arrivals at Altena Classic Service: an impressive and rare 1928 Packard 626 Standard 8 saloon in very good to excellent condition, a fabulous 1960 Austin Healey 3000 Mk I in superb (excellent+) condition and a fantastic 1968 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL 'Pagoda (sold)!
On Monday afternoon you may expect four new arrivals at Lex Classics: a 1954 Chevrolet 210 sedan, a 1966 Ford Mustang convertible, a 1973 MG MGB roadster and a 1997 Morgan +8 3.9 Litre 'wide body'!
Next week we will test drive and photograph at Smiths-Veglia,

We added six beautiful classic automobiles for sale at Smiths-Veglia and at Classic Cars Friesland.

At Smiths-Veglia: a gorgeous 1949 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Park Ward sports saloon in excellent to superb condition, a delightful owner-driver Rolls Royce which has won a RREC concours in 1978 and which has known only cautious one owner since 1989!
Next is a stunningly beautiful 1966 Jaguar E-type 4.2 Litre FHC series 1 (sold) in perfect 'Pebble Beach' concours (show) condition! The restoration took twelve years and 5612 hours to be completed, this is one of the most beautiful E-type FHC cars you will find worldwide. Also added a beautiful 1965 Jaguar Mk II 3.8 Litre (sold) saloon in very good condition, a magnificent driver featuring the most powerful 3.8 Litre engine mated with the manual gearbox and overdrive!

Added at Classic Cars Friesland: a magnificent 1956 Jaguar XK 140 OTS (roadster) in beautifully restored concours (show) condition. At Altena Classic Service we added a very impressively prepared 1967 Volvo P130 Amazon rally car in excellent condition! This very competitive rally car is ready for every challenge!

At Lex Classics we added a magnificent and rare 1954 Jaguar XK 120 SE Open Two Seater (OTS/roadster) (sold) in superb (excellent++) condition, concours. A very impressive 1973 Jaguar E-type V12 convertible (sold) in excellent condition, a bold & beautiful 1997 Morgan 4/4 1800 in superb (excellent+) condition with green enamelled wire wheels. A pristine 1998 Morgan 4/4 1800 in superb (excellent++) condition, like new, fitted with chrome wire wheels.
At Smiths-Veglia we added a delightful 1955 MG MGA 1500 roadster (sold) in excellent to excellent+ condition. This is the oldest registered MG MGA in the Netherlands.

Last weekend the 11th Concours d'Élégance Paleis het Loo was held in Apeldoorn the Netherlands. Again is was a magnificent event. The addition of the royal 'basse court' in front of the palace to exhibit the top class automobiles has given the concours a Royal 'cachet'. The concours attracted over 21.500 visitors over the weekend, a record. This week we tested and photographed new arrived classic cars for sale at Lex Classics. A racy 1959 Austin Healey 3000 Mk I BN7 'two seater' (sold) in superb (excellent+) condition, a very beautiful 1959 Porsche 356 B T5 coupe (sold) in superb (excellent+) condition, a fabulous 1969 Jaguar E-type 4.2 Litre series 1.5 OTS (sold) in superb (excellent+) condition and a 1947 Jaguar Mk IV 3.5 Litre Drophead coupe in superb (excellent+) condition! We also photographed at Imparts, shortly you may expect an excellent Peugeot 404 coupe!

Goodwood Revival Meeting 2011

During our stay in the UK from Thursday 15 until Monday 19 September we visited the Goodwood Revival and the Brooklands Museum.

Video reportage Mille Miglia 2011

 We visited the 2011 Mille Miglia 'Storica' in Italy which was held from May 12 until May 15. Again it was a wonderful event!
We created a 22 minute Full HD video of the events before the start in Brescia on May 12. You see the most fantastic cars drive by and you can feel the atmosphere in the streets and piazza's. We used a special camera lens to give you the impression of actually being there!

We are back from the Goodwood Revival in England, it was fantastic! We uploaded HD video clips of three races to our
Youtube Channel:

• Freddy March Trophy 6.18 minutes. With very spectacular Jaguar C-type and Ferrari 166 MM barchetta collision.
• Whitsun Trophy 4.30 minutes. In this race you see the most impressive and fastest sports and racing prototypes which were racing from 1963 until 1966. (Including CanAm McLaren and Lola cars!)
• Richmond Trophy 4.39 minutes. Front engined Grand Prix cars of a type that raced from 1948 until 1960.

In January 2007 the InterClassics/Topmobiel classic car show was traditionally held in the MECC, Maastricht, the Netherlands. It was a beautiful and compact show and the quality of the classics on sale and services offered were high. The ClassicarImagess Amicale Facel Holland, Altena Classic Service, Classic Cars Friesland. On April 20 and 21 2006 we visited Mercedes-Benz in Stuttgart. For the second time we were invited in the Mercedes-Benz Classic Center and the new museum. In December 2005 we visited the museum during the decorating stage. Now the new Mercedes-Benz museum is almost ready for the public; the gates of the worlds most impressive automobile museum were opened on May 20.
