Restoration
( a very brief summary)
Work began at once removing the last few bits from the chassis. It was
sandblasted and etched primed and then taken to the workshops of AH Panels ( A division of AH Spares) where all the new body panels etc are
manufactured. Here all corroded parts (usual stuff like floors, sills, outriggers rear x member. etc) were replaced.
Once all the structural work was completed it was taken to the workshops
of VCR manufacturing who are specialist panel makers and OE suppliers to Morgan and
Bentley etc. where the outer body was fitted up. This was
then removed and the chassis and inner body painted.
The rebuild then followed to the following specification.
Chassis and inner body as standard construction but with BN-2 additions.
Body new wings, doors, bonnet, and boot lid all in aluminium. Original shrouds repaired as necessary The LHD configuration has been
retained.
Suspension standard but with addition of Healey 3000 anti
roll bar and 20% up rated front shocks.
Brakes are BJ8 (3000 Mk III) discs and calipers at the front and 3000 drums to the rear.

is 144 bhp. and 208 lb torque. With 100/M cold airbox fitted this dropped
